A Heart's Pull ...

Gazing into a star lit vanilla sky
I wonder what holds them nigh
What keeps them going apart?
The same pull found in a heart?
What a strange pull this is !
Soothing like a summer breeze
Distressed heart is put to ease
Plagued though by your tease !
Strong emotions running deep
Any semblance-away they sweep
Eyes, to see you, always crave
Till they journey to their grave
Unchecked love in your eyes
My soul to you, it firmly ties
Like a thirsty one craving water
You in my life is all that’d matter
Locked in your arms, I’d see bliss
Never been more sure of than this

Never to part

Years may into decades turn

‘Things’ of world  I may earn

Forever I’d cherish thy heart

Gifted in faith, never to part !

LOVE LOCK

Across a crowded room,
Love flows as a stream
With a fleeting glance
Two hearts set to dance
To an ageless melody
Pulsing thru the body
Trading innocent smiles
Shrinking gap by miles
In silence, they just talk
Love, binds as a lock !

Love Talk

Amidst a raging storm
Cosmic dice was cast
Plundering emotions
In the blink of an eye
“Do you see my pain?”
You questioned…

‘ I do’ my silence said,
‘But do you see mine?’
Exists a huge chasm
Between our past hurts
And future healing
Exists a huge chasm
Between You & me…
I fear crossing over-
Yet a hope awakens
That you might do the
crossing over to my side
Taking the first step
For eternal Love-talk

Shimmered his Love...

Gazing into clouds, I’d wonder

When’d end my days of ponder

Holding a mute talk with wind

I’d pray, he peel away my rind

Searing soul with Eternal Love

Gifting me a Treasure Trove

Arrived he with keen, wary eyes

Tale of daunt - lows and highs

Sent Light from my heart to his

Receding away his deep abyss

Shimmered his Love; stealing kiss

Days apart had left nothing amiss

COMPANION CONSTANT

Your love has always been
My companion constant
Through the darkest hours
It has sustained me
Through the brightest hours
I have celebrated it
This love-enchanting,tantalising
Has been my protective hood
Like the mountains capped by snow
It has always adorned my heart
Bathing me in its fervour,
Filling me with joy,
Lighting up my world.
And so, with a thankful heart
I rest my soul forever in your lap

RED CARNATIONS

On a very bright morn,

When i was feeling forlorn

Unheralded, they arrived

With love's depth mirrored

For a lonely heart in wait

A gift that seemed so right

Bridging a million miles

Lit up my face in smiles

Carnations with red petals

Had love hidden in sepals...

THE JOURNEY

As we journey under the scorching sun
Life at times takes an unexpected turn
What mattered yesterday, doesnt anymore
Waves ever new...on the mind's shore
We may conciously detour or miss a turn
Wonder later if the move was a wise one
Sometimes its pain, sometimes its fun
Outcomes of an action, knows none

We gamble; then pray with all our might
That all the decisions somehow turn right
It'd be scarier to find ourselves all alone
None around to hear us scream or moan
All we ever need is a loved one near
To hold the hand and still a fear
To share events of joy; to celebrate
Down the years, a bond to commemorate

LOVE HEALS ...

It is a time of not knowing

Answers that the soul is seeking

A word said, perhaps, too early

May now cost a relationship dearly

Was this calculated move prudent?

Did it abort something God sent?

Questions that would forever haunt

Filling the heart with immense daunt

Maybe, a benign pause, is the need

To clear the mind and then proceed

Who knows what tomorrow will reveal

For, love in the hearts - it will always heal
